Vision: Co-locating our schools onto one campus.
As part of the 20/20 Vision, the Board of Directors (BOD) of Concordia Lutheran School (CLS) and Mount Rainier Lutheran High School (MRLHS), have formed a Joint Relocation Task Force, chaired by MRLHS BOD President, Steve Wolf. The committee continues evaluating a short list of viable campus options, including and not limited to the following work in progress:
Locate MRLHS on CLS’ Existing Campus
In 1994, CLS began considering a campus expansion with the idea of adding a high school. Recently, the drawings were revisited and the following rendering has been provided as a concept.
Location: 202 E. 56th Street, Tacoma, WA 98404
Locate CLS and MRLHS on same location as Our Savior Lutheran Church
In the summer of 2015, Board and Administrative representatives from CLS and MRLHS, met with leadership representatives from Our Savior Lutheran Church (OSLC), to discuss the possibility of the schools co-locating on the property owned by and adjacent to the church. The representatives formed a Strategic Leadership Team (SLT) and among other concepts, created the following rendering:
Location: 4519 112th St E, Tacoma, WA 98446

Co-locate at a location yet to be established
On October 18, 2016, the Boards formalized the schools Joint Operating Agreement (JOA). Along with the two options, the Joint Relocation Task Force is actively seeking additional locations and continually praying for God’s wisdom as to a home for the school.
